Designer Spotlight: Coralia Leets
A synergy of style and elegance. What more could a girl ask for? Lucky for us, this is what Coralia Leets has based her whole design aesthetic on. In tune with what women really want, Coralia creates jewelry for the sophisticated woman who wants to let her individuality shine.
A Little History
Coralia Leets started her venture into the world of jewelry design a little over a decade ago and opened her first namesake boutique in 2001 in Winter Park, Florida. It was there that she first began to gather a loyal following. The Florida folk became instantly drawn to her vibrant and colorful designs. Originally, each piece of jewelry was individually handmade my local artisans, however with business booming, Coralia was soon forced to seek out other manufacturing options that could turn out quality craftsmanship at a higher capacity and a reasonable price. Coralia ended up settling on Turkey as the ideal manufacturing environment for her growing brand.
Coralia puts out two to three collections a year, each of which is comprised of roughly 675 pieces of jewelry. The collections are made using hand selected stones, primarily from Brazil. In the event that a particular stone is not available in a certain color, Coralia has sourced experts to dye quartz to a desired shade. The stones are then set in a sterling silver base that has been dipped in a 22k gold fill overlay. This unique technique helps keep the designs at Coralia's target price point, therefore allowing her to reach a broader customer base. A smart move considering the Coralia Leets brand has expanded from Winter Park, FL to being sold in Europe, Asia and Latin America.

Coralia's designs are bold and contemporary, perfect for any woman wanting to make a statement, yet they remain delicate and feminine enough for that statement to ere on the side of sheer elegance. Each piece is so entirely versatile, that you could easily wear one of her necklaces to the office, out on a date or even to a black tie event. But beyond versatility comes originality. It's easy to be truly unique in any one of Coralia's designs. Almost each item is offered in a dazzling array of 22 colors so that you can design your necklace or earrings to fit your individual tastes and personality.

Coralia's designs are so elegant and show stoppingly gorgeous, that French actress Julia Judd, Penelope Cruz and Milla Jovovich all wore Coralia Leets jewelry to the Cannes Film Festival.
Film star Diahann Carroll was seen wearing a beautiful Coralia Leets necklace in an editorial spread for the May 2011 issue of O, The Oprah Magazine.
Maria Menounos, NBC Today and Access Hollywood correspondent, wore a pair of turquoise Coralia Leets 26mm teardrop earrings on the cover of the June 2011 Self Magazine.
